Frenkie de Jong 🇳🇱 :

According to well-placed sources, the move for Frenkie de Jong will eventually happen.

Manchester United have spent weeks chasing a deal for Frenkie de Jong and have had one informal bid rejected that amounts to around €70 million in the last weeks, however, this hasn't stopped the club from pursuing the deal.

Manchester United will not bow to FC Barcelona's fee demand of €85 Million but will make a second offer which they consider will be accepted.

Manchester United are discussing internally about submitting a new bid for Frenkie de Jong in the coming days and it is a serious possibility they will. We can definitely expect movement on Frenkie de Jong this week after many direct talks with Barcelona.

According to UtdActive sources, the next bid will be between €75m-€82m and will be an official one, which United tend to only do when they know it will be accepted.

Club confident in a compromise with Barca regarding payment structure and delivering a priority target for Ten Hag.

This week will be really important on the Frenkie de Jong deal.

Christian Eriksen 🇩🇰:

"Manchester United have made an offer for Christian Eriksen but it's likely the player will remain in London by signing with Tottenham or re-signing for Brentford"

This is what was being said in the last few days, however, this morning it has been reported that Tottenham have not followed up on their interest in Eriksen and are distancing themselves from links as they are now focused on signing a right-back, centre-back and then a striker.

"Christian Eriksen is no longer keen to stay in London. Christian Eriksen to Manchester United is a very strong possibility, his agency has already spoken with the club about the project".

This is coming from journalist Alasdair Gold, a Tottenham Correspondent.

Manchester United have offered Christian Eriksen a 1-year contract with an option of a further 12 months. The financial terms of the deal are deemed acceptable for Eriksen.

Lisandro Martínez 🇦🇷:

A couple of days ago, very reliable journalist David Ornstein, reported that Arsenal informed Ajax they were willing to pay €30m for Lisandro Martinez, but they refused.

This morning, Dutch Journalist Mike Verweij, reported that Manchester United are preparing an offer for Lisandro Martínez.

"If United dig deeper than that, Ajax will have a decision to make. Ajax will only sell if there is an offer they cannot refuse"

After which we got a report from Hernan Sisto, from TyC Sports, that United have made an offer of over €40 million for Lisandro Martínez.

It remains to be seen if this is true and if United will ultimately sign Ajax's last season's POTY.

Tyrell Malacia 🇳🇱:

Manchester United will move for Tyrell Malacia after the Frenkie de Jong deal is concluded reports, reliable journalist, Rob Draper. Feyenoord have recently rejected a bid from Lyon for the player. Nothing else has been said but it is believed that the fee needed would be around €20-25 million.

Jurrien Timber 🇳🇱:

As of last week, United were hopeful of signing Timber but the uncertainty over his playing time before the World Cup has made the move unlikely at this stage, hence the links to Lisandro Martinez.

Ajax have no intentions of selling both Timber and Martinez this summer. Erik ten Hag identified Jurrien Timber as his prime defensive target, but it seems that the comments of the Dutch National Team and former United manager Louis Van Gaal have made Timber reconsider his future.

According to UtdActive sources, If a deal is not concluded this summer, United might look into signing Timber over the next two transfer windows.

Malcolm Ebiowei 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿:

Manchester United are also very much in the hunt for Derby County protege Malcolm Ebiowei.

United are pushing hard to secure his signing, with his representatives also keen on the move.

"United and Crystal Palace are leading the race to sign Derby County's Malcolm Ebiowei.

AS Monaco asked for him too but he’s expected to stay in the Premier League. Ebiowei is seen as a star in the making, and United want to get beat a long list of potential suitors to his signature", reports the famous Fabrizio Romano.

Not much is known about the 18-year-old who played only 16 times for Derby last season. But according to a Derby fan:

"He’s the most talented player we’ve had since Will Hughes for me. Gutted he’s leaving, but fingers crossed we can get him back on loan."

Other reports about the team:

United are effectively starting from scratch in the transfer window, going off Erik ten Hag's shortlist and disregarding most of the recommendations from the scouting department, in the process of being revamped again.

They do not want to rush decisions on players because everything will have to be approved by Ten Hag. Some United fans may be frustrated, but there is a process at Old Trafford and it won’t necessarily be a perfect system straight away.

Ten Hag recognises that investments in the midfield are very important to see significant changes in the football, which needs to be attacking-based. He believes that the midfield is the most important issue at the club. Ten Hag is targeting five signings this summer.
