It has just been confirmed that Manchester United have agreed a fee for the transfer of Brazilian international Antony, from AFC Ajax.

Reliable journalists such as David Ornstein, Fabrizio Romano and Mike Verweij have just confirmed that Manchester United have agreed a nearly 100€ transfer fee including add-ons with Ajax for 22-year-old Brazilian winger Antony Dos Santos.

This comes after the player forced for his dream move to the "Theatre of Dreams" by making himself unavailable for matches and training while also stating in an interview his desire to leave the club. A move that clearly shows his huge ambition to fulfil his dream and play for the red side of Manchester.

The player was described as "obsessed" to join his former coach's side and play in the Premier League and it looks like he finally got what he wanted.

Antony was a fundamental piece in making Erik's system work at Ajax.

Firstly, his most notable quality is his flair which makes him highly unpredictable to defenders.

This gives him the upper hand in 1v1s where he has been a joy to watch. As a player with a low centre of gravity, he uses short distance bursts in combination with his incredible dribbling skills to become a defender's biggest nightmare.

Perhaps what makes him an even more exciting prospect for Man Utd is his ability to cross the ball with his left foot, something that no winger at United can currently do successfully.

With 22 goal involvements in 33 games last season including 6 from 7 matches in the Champions League, his performances have been key to Ajax's success last season, with many fans stating that when he got injured, the team lost its creativity.

Antony was reportedly the priority attacking transfer for Erik ten Hag, for they seemed to have a special relationship, much like what Sir Alex Ferguson had with his former star Cristiano Ronaldo.

It remains to be seen if Antony will live up to the expectations and become a star for United but it sure looks like United have got a real talent in their hands.
