CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN HAS DECIDED TO JOIN MANCHESTER UNITED ON A 3-YEAR DEAL
Manchester United have had a slow start to the summer transfer window which quickly escalated with the signing of Tyrell Malacia. Now, it has been confirmed that United have got their 2nd signing this summer, Christian Eriksen.
Christian Eriksen was the other main midfield target that Erik ten Hag wanted to sign after Frenkie de Jong. The 30-year-old made his incredible comeback to Football at the start of 2022 with Brentford who gave the Danish international a chance to restart his career which helped them survive near-certain relegation.
Eriksen trained with Ten Hag's former team, Ajax, after his heart attack at last summer's EURO championship and Ten Hag allowed him to build up his fitness and sharpness meaning the two hold a good relationship.
Ten Hag's main desire this summer was to add more technically gifted footballers to United's squad and that's exactly what Eriksen brings. The Dane showed last season his physical and technical skills which could be useful to Manchester United.
It is common knowledge that United lack the quality and depth of the top teams in the midfield area and the signing of Eriksen helps United solve that problem.
Welcome to Manchester, Christian!
