MANCHESTER UNITED VS LEICESTER MATCH REVIEW

Manchester United have gotten their 3rd win in a row and 2nd consecutive clean sheet in the Premier League against Leicester City.

After a disastrous start to the season, with 2 losses in the first 2 games, Erik ten Hag's side managed to beat Liverpool and Southampton which saw them come into this match in 8th place against bottom of the league side Leicesteer City.

The game's only goal came when United hit Leicester on a quick counter-attack in the 23rd minute as Marcus Rashford combined with Sancho, who rounded the goalkeeper with his first touch and sent the ball into an empty net which made Old Trafford errupt in celebration.

This game has showed that Erik ten Hag is truly building a consoldated team as it was a real team performance with every player doing his job and the team attacking and defending together, all 11 players, according to Jadon Sancho. The defense has, once again, been magnificent keeping another clean sheet but most of all showing rigidity and passion. Most praise should probably go to Raphael Varane who showed why he is a 5 time Champions League winner, by leading the backline.

The Gaffer, even though happy with the result, didn't seem convinced that the team performed as good as it could've had.

Gaffer, Erik ten Hag's, words after the game:

"Maybe it's too quick to say [we have turned a corner]," he said. "We're happy with it, we're building a team and a squad who are sticking together, fighting for each other, they co-operate and if you do that, you get the right results. We have to step it up further, and Sunday will be a really good game, a really good test, so we're looking forward."

"We need a good squad and we needed numbers," Ten Hag said after the match. "There are a lot of games to cover. Once we have Cristiano Ronaldo and Casemiro getting fitter it will get better still -- we need not only a team we need a squad."

Very important to note that GlazersOut chants were heard almost all the time throughout the game as the fans continue to protest against the owners.

United climbed to 5th place, with the next game against, table leaders, Arsenal, on the 4th of September crucial in their chase for success this season
