According to UtdActive sources, Lisandro Martinez's preference is a reunion with Ten Hag and hopes that United can find an agreement with Ajax. Arsenal are in the race but seen as unlikely.
Ajax haven't rejected the new bid but they want €50m guaranteed. It's up to Manchester United now if they up the bid or walk away.
Lisandro's camp is pushing Ajax for him to move to United.
Ten Hag would like to work with Ronaldo but doesn't see him playing every game and this is where Ronaldo's excuses about ambition, signings and not getting UCL come into play from his side. Ten Hag would like a more mobile striker, and whilst he won't publicly say this, it's definitely the plan and he isn't too concerned about him leaving.
United don't want to sell Ronaldo and he will need to come to terms with this. They are not willing to sell to Chelsea given he has 1 more year on his contract plus a clause for an additional year, they hold all the cards.
Manchester United have a plan if Ronaldo pushes to leave though. They will replace him with another superstar, and the Glazers will sanction a one-off deal outside of the budget.
Frenkie de Jong:
Manchester United and Barcelona have agreed on a fee for the player. Everything is done between the clubs.
The reason for the delay is the fact that Barcelona owe Frenkie de Jong around £17 million in deferred salaries.
Joan Laporta saying that Frenkie is not for sale is just a way to keep the player happy so he can agree to a salary reduction and maybe even give up on the money he's owed.
Xavi is the one pushing to keep the player but the salary reduction that Barcelona want from Frenkie is a huge amount and Laporta knows this.
Player is still on holiday and personal terms are yet to be discussed with the player.
Players on the Transfer list:
Manchester United want to sell Arron Wan-Bissaka but at the right price. He isn't considered a starter by Ten Hag but nothing seems imminent on this one.
Telles has been transfer-listed by the club but they want to recoup what they paid for him so he will only be sold at the right offer.
Timber could be an opportunity in the January transfer window.
A right-back is still something Ten Hag wants to look at later on in the window if he can.
If Ronaldo does indeed leave, then United will have £60-70 million to spend on an attacker but they don't want any transfer mistakes so they will only sign a significant player.
Manchester United aren't prepared to sign Antony for £70m. As it stands there will be no deal for the player unless Ajax drop their demands.
Nothing on Dybala. It's agent-driven. He has dropped his wage demands to get a club to sign him but sources believe Inter might come back in.
